The Hungarian Prime Minister expects important positive changes to take place in the world next year.
Viktor Orban spoke about 2025 on his social media page.
The politician predicts a fantastic year, but on one condition.
"If 2025 is the year of peace, it will be a fantastic year! We are ready," the Hungarian prime minister wrote on his page.
Before this, Orban announced a “peacetime” budget for next year. It assumes economic growth of 3–5%, as well as a number of social support measures for the population.
The politician stated that Hungary intends to maintain economic neutrality against the backdrop of the situation in Eastern Europe.
Orban, together with Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico, advocates resolving tensions between Russia and the West.
The Hungarian Prime Minister visited Moscow in 2024. During his visit, he met with Vladimir Putin, despite criticism from EU officials.
