Turkish President Erdogan traded electric car for horse
During his visit to Bishkek, Erdogan presented Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov with the latest Turkish electric vehicle TOGG.
In response, Japarov presented Erdogan with a horse as a national symbol of Kyrgyzstan.
The exchange of official gifts is connected with the cultural traditions and friendship of the two countries, RIA Novosti reports.
Erdogan presented Japarov with a white TOGG electric car, dubbed "White Pamukkale." The Turkish car symbolizes the country's achievements in high technology.
In response, Sadyr Japarov presented Erdogan with a horse, which symbolizes the strength of the Kyrgyz people.
According to representatives of the Kyrgyz administration, the exchange of gifts took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
After the ceremony, the presidents discussed key issues in relations between the countries.
