Dmitry Medvedev stated that the outcome of the US presidential elections will not change Washington's policy towards Russia.

The Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council emphasized that the United States under Joe Biden has chosen a course that neither Donald Trump nor, especially, Kamala Harris will change.

The politician explained that Washington found an opportunity to replenish the budget and stimulate its own production through the sale of military products, TASS reports.

There will be no fundamental changes under either Trump or Harris. The only difference will be in the style of conducting policy against Russia.

Medvedev stressed that one politician will do this with “fervor,” while another will show some caution.

The US is extracting maximum benefit from the current situation in Eastern Europe and is not going to suddenly abandon it, the politician said.

He added that Washington had already humiliated the European Union by taking production for itself without losing anything.
