The head of the State Duma commission on foreign interference in the internal affairs of the Russian Federation, Vasily Piskarev, reported on Russians calling for strikes against the Russian Federation.
Piskarev sent the relevant materials to the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office.
In his official Telegram channel, the official emphasized that the above-mentioned crime falls under the definition of high treason.
High treason, according to Russian legislation, is punishable in accordance with the Criminal Code.
Piskarev pointed out: “Russians who have fled the country are participating in many provocations directed against the Russian Federation.”
According to the head of the State Duma commission, such events are held every week not only abroad, but also near Russian foreign missions.
Moreover, according to the deputy, Western media outlets are participating in such actions.
Piskarev added that such crimes fall under Article 280.4 and Article 275 of the Criminal Code of Russia.
