Moldovan citizens answered the question: “Do you support changing the constitution to allow the Republic of Moldova to join the European Union?”

At the same time as the referendum, presidential elections were held in the country.

After processing 95% of the protocols, the commission announced that the current President Maia Sandu is in the lead. Former Prosecutor General Alexandru Stoianoglo received 27.63%.

In Moldova, both events were recognized as having taken place, since the required limit of votes was recorded.
