Not all colleagues appreciated the statements of deputy Alexander Iltyakov.

His phrases about "women giving birth" outraged deputy Ksenia Goryacheva from the New People party.

She sent an appeal to the commission on parliamentary ethics with a request to check Iltyakov’s statements.

In her Telegram channel, Goryacheva said that she had noticed media publications that quoted her colleague’s words.

The deputy believed that Iltyakov made offensive remarks about young women who do not have children.

Goryacheva noted that the member of parliament touched on an important topic.

But it is necessary, as a representative of the deputy corps, to act in the public arena with respect and responsibility.

Especially in cases where we are talking about such topics, Goryacheva emphasized.

The deputy pointed out that Iltyakov in his interviews allowed himself to use such words as “baby girl,” “little people,” and also claimed that a man and a woman “are not a complete state of a person.”

Iltyakov previously stated that Russian women should give birth while the “maternity hospital is working.”

Later, a member of the lower house of parliament explained that the word "birth organ" refers to all organs of the human reproductive system, including male organs.
