The outgoing administration of US President Joe Biden still has a chance to “screw things” with Russia.

The current US government has “a couple of months” to do this, noted Russian Foreign Ministry press secretary Maria Zakharova.

In a conversation with RIA Novosti, the official representative of the department emphasized that Donald Trump has officially won the US elections.

But there are still two months left before his inauguration. During this time, the outgoing Biden administration could very well "make a mess" of Russia, Zakharova noted.

“During this time, and we know them, they can do a lot of damage, I think that their Russophobia has not gone away,” the diplomat shared her opinion.

At the same time, the department’s press secretary pointed out that many of Washington’s Russophobic projects have failed.

As an example, Zakharova cited the US attempt to send Russia into isolation and convince all countries of the world to abandon contacts with Moscow.

The agency's representative emphasized that the outgoing US administration had done a lot for this, but had not achieved much success.
