Tajikistan regards the situation in the Russian Federation surrounding citizens of the republic as causing concern.

Tajik Prime Minister Kokhir Rasulzoda announced this at a meeting of the intergovernmental commission of the two countries in Dushanbe.

He is seriously concerned about the alarming trend associated with the violation of the fundamental rights and freedoms of Tajiks in Russia, TASS writes.

Tajikistan is concerned about the implementation of measures to regulate the migration field in Russia.

Rasulzoda spoke about the non-admission, entry ban, and deportation of citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan from the Russian Federation.

He also noted that Moscow is conducting these events under the vague guise of ensuring security.

The Prime Minister stressed that citizens of Tajikistan are forced to linger for hours and even days at the border with Russia.

At the same time, as Rasulzoda noted, Russia is increasing its demand for labor resources from Tajikistan.
