Szijjarto: All of Europe Trades with Russia and Only Hungary Doesn't Hide It

The Hungarian Foreign Minister spoke about trade with Russia.

According to the Hungarian politician, only his country openly admits the fact of purchasing goods from the Russian Federation, although everyone does it.

Peter Szijjarto made this comment following the meeting of the 15th Russian-Hungarian intergovernmental commission on economic issues, RIA Novosti reports.

The politician noted that, despite the efforts of Western countries, sanctions pressure on Russia did not work.

This is because, one way or another, European companies continue to find workarounds to continue cooperation with Russia.

For example, this is evidenced by the surge in imports of Russian energy resources, which have begun to actively flow into India. It is with the help of third countries that Europe is circumventing the restrictions imposed on the Russian Federation and its products.

At the same time, Budapest does not need to hide its cooperation with the Russian Federation, since it builds relations with Moscow openly and will never hide them.
