State Duma calls on France to search for terrorists instead of hunting Russians
The State Duma commented on the persecution of Russian citizens.
According to Adalbi Shkhagoshev, a member of the State Duma Committee on Security, Paris should pay more attention to the situation with the terrorist threat in the country.
The parliamentarian expressed this opinion while speaking with RIA Novosti journalists.
Earlier it became known about the detention of a Russian citizen in France. He is suspected of allegedly destabilizing the situation in France during the Olympic Games.
Presumably, a 40-year-old official, allegedly working in the Moscow mayor's office, was detained.
Commenting on this news, Shkhagoshev called on the French authorities to stop hunting Russians.
According to the State Duma member for security, there are hundreds of sleeping terrorist cells in this country, and no one is searching for or identifying them.
Shkhagoshev suggested that Paris should turn to other countries to eradicate this threat and prevent sabotage during the Olympic Games.
