The South Korean Foreign Ministry has summoned the Russian ambassador to Seoul.

The reason for inviting Georgy Zinoviev was information about the movement of North Korean troops to Russia.

An official statement on the South Korean Foreign Ministry's website said the situation poses a security threat to the international community.

South Korean authorities demand an immediate withdrawal of troops and call for an end to military cooperation between Russia and the DPRK.
