Slovenia reports large-scale exchange between Russia, the US, Germany and Belarus

Slovenian journalists have reported on a planned large-scale prisoner exchange between four countries.

The names of some of the prisoners who are to be exchanged between Russia, the USA, Germany and Belarus are known.

TV Channel N1 reports that a large-scale prisoner exchange will take place in the “coming hours.”

According to the Slovenian side, Russians Artem and Anna Dultsov, accused of espionage, will return to their homeland.

They reportedly posed as Argentine citizens. A Slovenian court sentenced them to one year and seven months in prison.

Germany intends to return Rico Krieger, who was sentenced to death in Belarus but later pardoned by Alexander Lukashenko.

In response, Germany will return Vadim Krasikov, who was convicted in Germany for the murder of Chechen commander Zelimkhan Khangoshvili in Berlin in 2019.

It is also reported that the US plans to return Wall Street Journal journalist Evan Gershkovich, who was sentenced to 16 years in prison in Russia for espionage.
