Six European countries accuse Russia of intensifying hybrid attacks

Foreign ministers from a number of European countries have made accusations against the Russian Federation.

The foreign ministers of six countries stated that Russia has allegedly intensified hybrid attacks against the European Union and NATO.

Representatives of Great Britain, Germany, Spain, Italy, France and Poland made accusations against Moscow.

Their joint statement following the meeting in Brussels, Belgium, was published on the UK government website .

Foreign ministers claim that Russia is allegedly systematically attacking the European security architecture.

In Europe, an “escalation of Moscow’s hybrid activities” against NATO and EU countries has been recorded.

It is noted that the activities of the Russian Federation in this area are unprecedented in their diversity and scale.

Europe also condemned Moscow for establishing ties with Iran and the DPRK.

Politicians have spoken of the need to strengthen NATO and increase spending on the alliance's security and defence capabilities.
