Russian senators and State Duma deputies are required to agree to leave Russia.
In case of violation of this procedure, the powers of deputies and members of the Federation Council will be terminated.
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law that prematurely terminates the powers of parliamentarians for unauthorized trips abroad.
Changes to the law will require deputies and senators to agree to travel outside the country.
The exception concerns business trips, the procedure and timing of which are preliminarily determined by the chamber of the Federal Assembly.
Travel outside of Russia must be agreed upon in accordance with the established procedure.
The main form of travel abroad for parliamentarians may be business trips.
