According to France, the arrest of the Russian businessman, which took place at the end of August, has already paid off.

This was reported by the French publication Monde , which cites judicial sources.

It is noted that on Monday Pavel Durov announced changes to the privacy policy. Now, if Telegram rules are violated by its users, their personal data may be disclosed.

Thus, the Monde article emphasizes, despite the low bail, Pavel Durov’s upkeep has already paid for itself.

Let us recall that the businessman was released from a French prison on bail of 5 million euros. However, his fortune is estimated at several billion.
