Lavrov: US is complicit in conflict in Middle East and Ukraine
The head of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs commented on the development of two large-scale military conflicts.
According to the Russian Foreign Minister, both the conflict in the Middle East and the conflict in Ukraine are in many ways complicit in what is happening.
Sergei Lavrov made this statement at a meeting on the situation in the Middle East, TASS reports.
The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry recalled that the US has demonstrated the same policy towards Israel as it has towards Ukraine.
All the support that Washington gives to one side in the conflict in the Middle East only leads to more bloodshed and death of civilians.
If this support stops, the bloodshed will stop, Lavrov emphasized.
However, he also noted that there is no hope for this, since Washington is not interested in ending support.
And the reason for this is not the desire to save human lives, but attempts to score as many points as possible in the election race, Lavrov is convinced.
