During his speech at a meeting of the UN Security Council, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov addressed US Permanent Representative Linda Thomas-Greenfield.
It is emphasized that Lavrov delivered the speech within the framework of a topic dedicated to the Middle East conflict.
The Russian minister asked the American official if she had entered the wrong door, RIA Novosti reported.
The diplomat made this statement after Thomas-Greenfield herself spoke, devoting most of her speech to the crisis in Ukraine.
Lavrov noted: “I wanted to ask the esteemed US representative whether she was in the wrong room and came to the wrong discussion?”
The Permanent Representative of Israel also spoke about the conflict in the Middle East.
The Israeli side expressed a critical position towards Iran.
The Tel Aviv representative also noted that Tehran is engaged in the supply of weapons that are subsequently used against Kyiv.
