Kremlin assesses Western statements on preparation for war with Russia
Dmitry Peskov commented on reports that the West is preparing for war with the Russian Federation.
Vladimir Putin's official representative assessed the statements of politicians from unfriendly countries.
In an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin, the Russian president's press secretary said that Moscow takes such statements seriously. A video fragment of the conversation is available on the journalist's Telegram channel.
Peskov said that the Kremlin regards such statements as the official position of the collective West.
It is impossible to evaluate this otherwise, because the statements are made by politicians of high and supreme levels.
The Kremlin spokesman added that the Russian authorities build their policy with both enemies and partners on the basis of such statements.
According to Peskov, there is no reason to believe that Western politicians are hiding their true position in this case.
“This is an absolute mirror of the position they take,” Putin’s press secretary emphasized.
Before this, it became known that Germany had begun preparations for a possible war with Russia. All preparations are expected to be completed by 2029.
