NATO's plans in the Asia-Pacific region have been revealed.

The North Atlantic alliance is increasing its military presence here to counter China.

This was reported by the Bloomberg agency. Journalists note that the strengthening of the alliance's positions in the region "irritates Beijing."

The agency claims that NATO's reinforcement is taking place in the Western Pacific.

European countries are sending their ships here to strengthen the American contingent.

Italy sent the aircraft carrier Cavour to the region, from which US fighters have already practiced firing at targets in the air.

Britain plans to send the aircraft carrier HMS Prince of Wales here in 2025.

France, Germany and the Netherlands have plans to send carrier strike groups to the region.

The Italian side emphasizes the indirect goal of the reinforcement – a demonstration of strength and the ability to transfer military equipment to any point in the world.

Analysts say the European build-up in the Asia-Pacific region is growing amid worsening tensions in the Middle East.

The US is forced to concentrate more of its forces to help Israel, but at the same time there is still a need for a presence in the Pacific Ocean and pressure on China.
