Kamala Harris continues to gain popularity among American voters.

The US presidential candidate managed to win the favor of residents of the swing states.

TASS reports this with reference to research by the Cook Political Report.

The current vice president has pulled ahead slightly in the statistics, which concern states that have not yet decided on their favorite.

On average, Harris has 48% of the vote here versus Trump's 47%. For example, Harris has a slight advantage in Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania.

Only in the state of Georgia did the candidates have an equal number of supporters – 48% each.

Of the "undecideds," Trump's support is stronger only in Nevada, where he has a 48% rating, compared to Harris's 45%.

Experts note that the situation could change after the debates, when Harris will outline her position on many issues.

The event is scheduled for September 10, and the elections themselves will take place on November 5.
