Before his death, Haniyeh arrived in Tehran to attend the inauguration of the new president, Masoud Pezeshkian.

According to al-Kaddoumi, the Israeli army's strike on the residence of the head of the Hamas political bureau was a sign of disrespect for legal norms.

According to the representative of the Palestinian movement, the murder of a representative of the party with which negotiations are being conducted violates the laws of humanism.
