France has spoken out about the presidential elections in Romania.
Florian Filippo called the interim results a slap in the face for the European Union and NATO.
The leader of the Patriots party made this statement in a new publication on the social network X.
As the politician noted, Romania presented an unusual surprise to the rest of Europe, since in the first round of the presidential elections, a candidate who is against the North Atlantic Alliance won the preliminary victory.
We are talking about independent candidate Calin Georgescu, who received 22.93% of the votes during the voting.
It is noteworthy that the potential candidate for the post of President of Romania advocates traditional values and also believes that NATO support is not a guarantee of security for his country.
What a great slap in the face to the EU, NATO and the pro-war camp! - Filippo concluded in his post.
