Former CIA Officer Secretly Worked for South Korea in Exchange for Bags and Dinners

Former CIA analyst and White House official Sue Mee Terry is accused of working as an agent for South Korea.

She allegedly passed classified information to Seoul about the activities of the American government.

The foreign policy specialist received luxury items in exchange, The Guardian writes.

US authorities have accused Sue Mi Terry of working as a secret agent for South Korea in exchange for bags, lunches and other gifts.

She disclosed classified US government information to South Korean intelligence.

In return, Sue Me Terry received Bottega Veneta and Louis Vuitton bags, Dolce & Gabbana coats, restaurant dinners and hidden funding.

Terry has served as an agent since 2013 after leaving her job with the U.S. government.

Now a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations and an expert on East Asia and the Korean Peninsula, she is on unpaid leave.
