The US Secretary of State made serious accusations against Russia.

Antony Blinken claims that Moscow is allegedly involved in a number of sabotage attempts on the territory of NATO countries.

The head of the State Department said that in recent months, the alliance's states have faced a series of arson attacks, sabotage attempts and assassinations.

The American official believes that Russia and its agents are allegedly involved in this. But the US Secretary of State did not provide any concrete evidence for his words.

"Every ally is focused on the fact that we have seen attacks in recent months, arson, sabotage, assassination attempts, disinformation, cyber threats," RIA Novosti quotes the official as saying.

Blinken called all this part of a Russian plan aimed at undermining the unity and security of the alliance.

The politician said Moscow's strategy would not work because the US and its allies "see it and act."

From July 9 to 11, a NATO summit is taking place in Washington, timed to coincide with the 75th anniversary of the alliance.

Earlier, the Federation Council obliged State Duma deputies to coordinate their foreign trips.
