The expert believes that the confrontation between Russia and the United States cannot be called a cold war, as it was in the 20th century.

American economist and Columbia University professor Jeffrey Sachs is confident that the conflict between the parties is now at a completely different level and format.

On Tucker Carlson's YouTube channel, the expert stated that Washington is in a state of "hot war" with Moscow.

A number of signs point to this, Sachs emphasized.

“We <…> not only finance, supply equipment, have goals, strategy, advise, but also have personnel on site,” the economist said.

The expert singled out the last point in particular. He noted that these people do not wear American military uniforms and are not called soldiers of the US Armed Forces. But everyone knows that they are there, Sachs emphasized.

This did not happen even during the Cold War, when relations between countries were at a low level and there were risks of direct conflict and nuclear war.

According to the expert, what is currently happening between Russia and the United States is a cause for concern.

The very situation of unprecedented confrontation should cause concern in the White House, the economist is sure.
