In a conversation with Lenta.ru , the weather forecaster reported that the winter is expected to be extremely uneven.
Temperatures forecast for the coming winter are close to record highs.
But at the same time, frequent thaws alternating with frosts are expected.
The coming winter should see temperatures below -15°C. For Moscow, this is already "real frost", Vilfand emphasized.
The weather forecaster cannot yet give a more accurate forecast.
At the moment, there is reason to believe that winter in the capital region will not be extremely cold or warm.
Average temperatures will correspond to long-term norms, the specialist concluded.
Cold weather will return to Moscow soon. From November 12, temperatures around zero are expected, but without precipitation, as high pressure is predicted.
