Two young children found unattended in apartment in Moscow
Parents abandoned their young children alone in an apartment in eastern Moscow.
A resident of the capital left girls aged 2 and 4 unattended.
Police officers arrived at the house, which is located on Svyatoozerskaya Street, the Moscow Prosecutor's Office reported on its Telegram channel.
Law enforcement officers entered the apartment and saw that the house was not in order. The children were taken away and taken to a special institution.
While the competent authorities were dealing with the children, the police were looking for the girls' mother. The woman was found and taken to the police station for investigation.
The issue of bringing the Russian woman to administrative responsibility is being considered.
According to media reports, the woman explained her absence by her desire to "go for a walk." The children said that their mother had been absent since the morning.
