Tiger cub confiscated from man in Moscow
A rare animal was confiscated in Moscow after being transported without documents.
A tiger cub was found in the possession of a man who was transporting it in his personal vehicle.
As RIA Novosti learned from the press service of the Sokolinaya Gora District Court of the World Court, located in the capital of Russia, the animal was eventually confiscated.
Gurbazada Emin Arastun oglu, who was transporting the animal, received an administrative fine of three and a half thousand rubles.
The case was heard in court under the article on actions that may cause harm to an animal listed in the Red Book.
Circumstances of the case
It is noted that the above-described incident occurred in Moscow in early August.
Police officers stopped a car traveling along Bolshaya Semenovskaya Street.
When checking the car's interior, the police found a carrier in which, instead of a pet, there was a tiger cub.
The man who was transporting it did not have any accompanying documents with him. According to the defendant in the case, he found the animal on the street.
