It has become known that a new train will be launched in Moscow.
We are talking about a completely unmanned Lastochka, which will operate along the Moscow Central Circle.
The launch of the innovative train was reported by a RIA Novosti correspondent who has already taken a ride on it.
It is noted that the driver is still present on the train, but he performs other functions.
The driver's job now includes opening and closing the doors to allow passengers to enter and exit the train.
Moreover, movement along the MCL is carried out in a fully automatic mode.
Such a system, as explained by Russian Railways, is called the third automation system.
Previously, the unmanned Lastochka only ran on test runs. However, today the train has already carried passengers for the first time.
The train itself slowed down and stopped, after which passengers entered the cabin and independently continued along the route.
It is noted that this train is the first in Russia to operate in a fully automatic mode.
