Moscow investigative authorities have reported that new details have emerged in the case of the death of eight tourists in an underground sewer.
According to law enforcement officials, the excursion organizers wanted to hide the signs of a crime.
In particular, the police indicate: "There are two people involved. They were the organizers of the excursion event," as reported by the Izvestia newspaper.
It is indicated that the grounds for placing criminals in custody remain unchanged and have not been cancelled.
It is reported that, according to the investigation materials, the defendants in this case are Alexander Kim and Nikita Dubas.
The above-mentioned persons are accused of committing a crime under Part 3 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of Russia.
The article provides for criminal liability for the provision of unsafe services that resulted in the death of two or more people.
It is also reported that Kim and Dubas conducted illegal excursions through the collectors of the underground Neglinka River in Moscow.
