Teenagers Burn BMW in Moscow for Promised Hundreds of Thousands of Rubles
A group of teenagers burned someone else's car in the west of the capital for material compensation.
Details were reported on the Moscow Prosecutor's Office Telegram channel.
Four 17-year-old residents of the capital set fire to a luxury BMW X7 crossover on Lobachevsky Street.
For this action, someone promised them 400 thousand rubles. The perpetrators communicated with an unknown person who convinced them to commit a crime for money.
The identity of the perpetrator has not yet been established, but the names of the perpetrators are known. They have been detained and are being interrogated.
Not only did they set the car on fire, but they also filmed the incident and then posted the video online.
Before committing the crime, they bought gasoline and medical masks, as well as cans of red paint.
The car burned out completely and cannot be restored. The same type of damage was caused to another car parked behind the German crossover.
A criminal case has been opened regarding the incident.
