Taxi driver arrested in Moscow on charges of violence against passenger

The courts of general jurisdiction of the city of Moscow reported that a taxi driver in the capital was arrested on charges of committing violence against a passenger.

It is indicated that the man was remanded in custody for two months.

On their official Telegram channel, the courts stated: “A preventive measure in the form of imprisonment until November 1, 2024 has been chosen for the accused.”

At present, investigative measures are being carried out with the aim of establishing all the circumstances of this incident.

Case details

It is indicated that the taxi driver is charged with committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 131 and Part 1 of Article 132 of the Criminal Code of Russia.
