Russian singer and performer of patriotic compositions Shaman (Yaroslav Dronov) attended a concert-rally at the American embassy in Moscow.
It is emphasized that Dronov arrived driving a Pobeda car with the inscription “Victory!” on its body.
The singer walked through the crowd with a megaphone in his hand, into which he declared that he had been blocked on YouTube because he was Russian, as reported by RIA Novosti .
Previously, Shaman informed the public that he intended to initiate a concert-rally against the illegal blocking of users from the Russian Federation on the above-mentioned platform.
Earlier, the European Commission announced that from now on, anti-Russian sanctions will also apply to the singer Shaman.
The reason given was that the perpetrator allegedly carries out actions that undermine the “sovereignty of Ukraine.”
Following the EC's statement, the singer's YouTube channel was blocked.
Grigory Leps, Oleg Gazmanov, Yulia Chicherina and Vyacheslav Manucharov were subject to similar sanctions.
