The State Duma commented on the appointment of the new NATO Secretary General.
According to the State Duma deputy from Crimea, Rutte is “sick with Russophobia,” just like his predecessors.
Mikhail Sheremet voiced this opinion in a conversation with RIA Novosti journalists.
Let us recall that Mark Rutte replaced Jens Stoltenberg as NATO Secretary General the day before, on Tuesday, October 2.
At the same time, he has already managed to make a statement about Kyiv’s strikes on Russian territory with Western weapons, noting that he understands Ukraine’s desire for this.
According to Sheremet, the appointment of a new Secretary General will not change anything for Russia, since Rutte has already made it clear that he adheres to the same Russophobic policy course as his predecessors.
This means that the North Atlantic Alliance will continue, as Sheremet believes, to destroy peace and incite conflicts in various parts of the world.
And the organization's Secretary General, who is none other than a US protégé, will facilitate the adoption of such decisions, often doing so to the detriment of other NATO member states.
