Leading specialist of the Phobos weather center Mikhail Leus said that today, September 10, the capital will be covered by abnormal heat.
According to the meteorologist, the air will warm up to 28 degrees Celsius.
Leus emphasized: “This is the first time in 75 years that Moscow will experience such weather,” as reported by TASS .
Overall, as the weather forecaster noted, today the capital will be influenced by the western periphery of a vast anticyclone.
In addition, there will be variable cloudiness, but no precipitation.
Leus added: "The air will warm up to at least 26 degrees Celsius. The thermometer will rise to 28 degrees Celsius."
As for the Moscow region, the meteorologist emphasized that the temperature will remain within 24-29 degrees Celsius.
The wind will be south-easterly, its speed will average from 4 to 9 meters per second. Atmospheric pressure will tend to fall.
