Moscow: Vacationers Stuck on 50-Meter Ferris Wheel in Heat
An incident in the Izmailovo Kremlin in Moscow has become known.
Here, a Ferris wheel with people on it is stuck due to a power outage.
Emergency services reported this information, RIA Novosti reports.
About 10 people decided to ride the fifty-meter Ferris wheel in the Izmailovo Kremlin.
But during the process the wheel suddenly stopped, which caused panic among the vacationers.
This happened when the city was quite hot. On the evening of August 19, the air temperature in Moscow reached +28°C.
The wheel's cabins are covered with glass, so it could be even hotter inside.
Traffic was restored within 12 minutes. Emergency services reported that there were no casualties as a result of the incident.
The park confirmed that the Ferris wheel stopped due to a power outage.
The problem was quickly resolved. When the power supply was restored, the people were brought down.
