Moscow authorities pay attention to the health of their citizens.

They build and renovate hospitals and vaccinate citizens against various diseases.

Since January 1 of this year, over 73 thousand vaccinations against tick-borne encephalitis have been carried out in the Russian capital. Details are provided on the website of the Rospotrebnadzor Administration.

It is noted that the number of people who completed the full course of vaccination was just over 52 thousand. Compared to last year, 15 thousand more people were vaccinated in 2024.

In addition, specialists perform preventive vaccinations for people traveling to endemic areas. Such vaccinations are free.

According to the website, in addition to vaccinations, work is being carried out to treat areas against ticks. For this purpose, grass is mowed and collected.

They also noted that warning signs are being installed in some areas to prevent unpleasant situations. This applies to areas that have not been treated.

It is added that the situation with diseases associated with tick bites is being monitored by the Moscow Office of Rospotrebnadzor.
