The Moscow project "My Sports District" has opened wushu classes. The details are reported by the Agency "Moscow" with reference to two-time Olympic biathlon champion Olga Zaitseva.
It is noted that those who wish can take up the ancient martial art. This can be done absolutely free of charge.
According to Zaitseva, wushu can be beneficial for people of all ages, including pensioners and young people.
She noted that during training people will be able to develop physical qualities, including agility and flexibility.
In addition, wushu classes can normalize metabolism, improve breathing and heart function.
The training venues are various locations, including the Mitino Landscape Park, Zyuzino Park. Classes are held on Wednesday at 19:00 and on Sunday at 11:00.
