Moscow court arrests 20 defendants in Wildberries shootout
20 people who may have been involved in the shootout that took place near the Wildberries office appeared in court today.
It was decided to send all those arrested to pre-trial detention.
The RIA Novosti agency, whose correspondent was present at the hearing of the case, shared operational information.
It is noted that six suspects were previously sent to a pretrial detention center, where they will remain until November 18. Today, another 14 defendants were arrested, with respect to whom the same decision was made.
All hearings on this incident are held behind closed doors. However, it is known that the court will examine more than twenty motions for detention.
Circumstances of the case
Let us recall that the shooting incident in question took place two days ago. The Wildberries office located on Romanov Lane in Moscow was attacked.
Two people died as a result of the injuries sustained during the shootout, and seven others received injuries of varying severity.
The founder of the brand's husband, Vladislav Bakalchuk, may have been involved in the incident; he was arrested and taken into custody.
The man was charged with the following offenses:
- murder and attempted murder;
- attempted murder of a law enforcement officer;
- arbitrariness.
