Police have detained a suspect in the theft of a telephone. The details are reported by the Moscow Agency, citing Vladimir Vasenin, head of the Information and Public Relations Department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the capital.
The theft took place in the sales area of a store in the Arbat district.
It is noted that an unknown person opened a display case in the store and stole a phone lying there.
According to Vasenin, after committing the crime, the man fled in an unknown direction.
He noted that thanks to the work of the police, the suspect was quickly identified. He turned out to be a 34-year-old man.
The boss also noted that the man sold the phone and then spent the money on his own needs.
It is added that a case has now been opened. The man has signed a written undertaking not to leave the area.
