Details of the murder of a pensioner, which took place in one of Moscow’s parks, have become known.
The case will be heard by a jury in court.
The Main Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the capital reported this on its Telegram channel.
According to the publication, the investigation has collected enough evidence to send the case to court. It is specified that the jury will decide the fate of the suspect.
We are talking about a murder that took place in the area of 3rd Museum Street, where one of Moscow’s parks is located.
A pensioner was walking near a lake with his two ten-year-old granddaughters; the girls were playing with pebbles and throwing them into the water.
A passerby made a rude remark to a man's granddaughters. When the pensioner approached him to find out what was going on, the suspect stabbed him instead of answering.
After the crime, the suspect, who was accompanied by a Jack Russell Terrier, fled the scene of the crime.
The victim died on the spot, right in front of the minors.
