International delegations to attend Moscow elections in September
The Moscow City Electoral Commission commented on the upcoming elections in the capital.
The Chairperson of the Moscow City Electoral Commission shared information that international delegations intend to visit the polling stations.
Olga Kirillova stated this in an interview with RIA Novosti .
The Moscow City Duma elections will be held from September 6 to 8. Not only Muscovites will vote: on these days, residents of the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky districts will also be able to cast their votes, and will be asked to elect municipal deputies.
The head of MGIK emphasized that there has always been interest in the Moscow elections. And the elections of deputies of the Moscow City Duma scheduled for September 2024 will attract several international delegations to the capital.
It is noted that polling stations are one of the items included in the program of stay in Russia for guests from abroad.
Foreign visitors will be invited to see the work of the public headquarters, which is monitoring the election process.
