The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Moscow Region reported that a man opened fire on the beach in Mytishchi.
The incident was recorded on the territory of the Dubrava recreation area.
The police stated: “A man born in 1978 grossly violated public order with his actions,” as reported by TASS .
It is indicated that a criminal case was opened against the troublemaker under Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of Russia.
The article provides for criminal liability for hooliganism.
As law enforcement officials explained, the accused began shooting from a pistol on the shore of the Pirogovskoye Reservoir.
After committing the crime, the man threw away the weapon. No one was hurt in the incident.
It is emphasized that for his illegal actions the troublemaker may receive 7 years of imprisonment.
Currently, law enforcement officers are carrying out investigative measures to establish all the causes of the incident.
