Head of settlement in New Moscow dies after winning elections
The 61-year-old politician died the day after winning the parliamentary elections.
This was reported on Tuesday, September 10, by the press service of the Moscow settlement of Voskresenskoye.
Magomed-Zagir Gasanov died at the age of 62. The cause of death is not stated.
The official website of the settlement notes that Gasanov has lived a worthy life, which is inextricably linked with public work.
Colleagues and residents of Voskresenskoye will remember the contribution that the politician made to the development and improvement of the settlement.
It is emphasized that Gasanov was privy to all the urgent problems of the settlement and was not afraid to raise pressing issues.
The requests of local residents were not empty words for him: “I always tried to respond to the requests of residents.”
The deceased was a member of United Russia. He was elected as a municipal deputy of the Voskresenskoye district following the elections of September 6–8.
He has been the Chairman of the Council of Deputies of the settlement since 2013.
