Details were reported on Thursday, November 14, by TASS, citing law enforcement agencies.
Valery Nikolov came under the investigators' sights.
He headed the capital repair fund for the Moscow region.
Now he is accused of receiving a bribe on an especially large scale. The amount is not disclosed, but we are talking about more than 1 million rubles.
Nikolova was detained and is asked to be placed into custody.
The organization began operating in October 2013. The foundation is engaged in the repair and construction of residential and non-residential premises.
The organization also oversees issues related to their operation.
Nikolov has been at the helm of the fund since 2017. The organization showed positive economic results in 2023.
The fund's profit amounted to RUB 1.4 billion, which is almost 90% more than the 2022 figures.
