Police officers detained a man for stealing money and jewelry from his partner's grandfather. The Moscow Agency reports details, citing the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for Moscow.
An unpleasant incident occurred in an apartment in a building located in the Moscow district of Novogireevo in the east of Moscow.
It is noted that the 24-year-old girl contacted the police about the theft. She noted that jewelry and money belonging to her grandfather had disappeared from her apartment.
According to the press service, police officers detained the suspect, a 32-year-old male gamer who lived with his girlfriend.
They also noted that the amount of damage amounted to approximately 2 million rubles.
It is added that a criminal case has now been opened. The man has compensated for the damage.
