Forecaster warns Muscovites about abnormal weather in December
Forecaster Tatyana Pozdnyakova told what surprises December has in store for residents of the capital region.
A leading specialist at the Meteonovosti news agency warned that the first month of winter is expected to be abnormal.
In a conversation with Izvestia , the weather forecaster reported that in December the average temperature could be higher than the climatic norm.
She noted that the forecast could still change, but that is the picture that is emerging now.
As for the third ten days of November, the prologue to winter is expected.
Already on Friday and Saturday (November 22–23), the capital may see over 50% of the monthly precipitation.
On Wednesday, November 20, snow clouds will cover the sky in the morning, and the air temperature will drop to -3°C. In addition, gusts of wind up to 6 m/s are expected. After lunch, the clouds will disperse.
If a dense layer of snow falls on November 23, it will most likely remain until December. Then an abnormal December warming is expected.
