Fire area at Moscow region enterprise doubles in size
New details have become known about the large-scale fire that broke out in Klimovsk.
The area of the fire has more than doubled.
RIA Novosti reports this with reference to information confirmed by the press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry.
It is noted that a fire in an industrial building in Klimovsk (a microdistrict of Podolsk) was reported earlier on November 28. Paints and varnishes, candles, furniture, etc. were stored at the site of the fire.
The fire covered 2,000 square meters and continued to spread rapidly across the area.
Firefighting efforts are hampered by several factors, including roof collapse and a high workload for firefighters.
A fire train was sent to the scene to fight the fire, and the number of specialists was increased to 70 people.
The fire has now spread over an area of more than 4,200 square meters.
