Elevator with people inside collapses in Moscow clinic

An incident occurred on the territory of Polyclinic No. 220.

Here, an elevator fell from a height of 15 floors. At that moment, there were people inside.

Information about this was reported on Thursday, July 11, by Moscow’s emergency services, TASS reports.

The incident took place in building No. 27 on Zamorenova Street. Polyclinic No. 220 is located at this address.

It is specified that there were workers inside the elevator. The clinic itself is closed for reconstruction.

As a result of the elevator collapse, one person died and one was injured. He was handed over to doctors.

The circumstances and causes of the incident have yet to be established, the capital's emergency services reported.

City Polyclinic No. 220 was founded in 1929.

The clinic is considered the largest medical and diagnostic institution serving the city's population both under the compulsory medical insurance system and on the basis of voluntary medical insurance.
