Electric scooter rentals suspended in Moscow
The adverse weather conditions that have developed in the capital of Russia have also affected SIM rental services.
It was decided to suspend the possibility of renting electric scooters for an indefinite period.
This measure was reported on the Moscow Department of Transport Telegram channel.
It is noted that the restrictions apply not only to electric scooters and other personal mobility devices, but also to bicycles.
The rental is suspended indefinitely until the weather in the capital improves.
Let us recall that the snow cover in Moscow has increased to 6 centimeters over the past 24 hours. The rampant bad weather made November 4 the second coldest in the 21st century.
In this regard, it was decided that rental services will resume their work no earlier than positive temperatures return to the capital.
The Department of Transport also called on owners of personal electric scooters and bicycles to refrain from traveling on their personal transport during these days and to exercise extreme caution when traveling on public transport.
